Valve changes the DPC 22/23 format

Recently, Valve released information regarding the next DPC season. The format of regional leagues will change. The information appeared on the official Dota 2 website.
Since the new year, the duration of seasons is reduced from 6 to 3 weeks. First, there will be matches of Upper Divisions, and after – the Lower Divisions. As before, we have 3 tours, each of which ends with a major. The number of regions and teams involved hasn't changed.
Winter Tour schedule:
- Open Qualifiers: December 11-13, 2022
- Closed Qualifiers: December 14-15, 2022
- DPC Upper Division: January 9-29, 2023
- DPC Lower Division: January 30 – February 19, 2023
- Winter Major: February 24-March 5, 2023
Spring Tour schedule:
- Open Qualifiers: March 13-15, 2023
- Closed Qualifiers: March 16-22, 2023
- DPC Upper Division: March 13 – April 2, 2023
- DPC Lower Division: April 3-23, 2023
- Spring Major: April 28 – May 5, 2023
Summer Tour schedule:
- Open Qualifiers: May 15-27, 2023
- Closed Qualifiers: May 18-24, 2023
- DPC Upper Division: May 15 – June 4, 2023
- DPC Lower Division: June 5-25, 2023
- Summer Major: June 30 – July 9, 2023
The culmination of the 22/23 season, as before, is The International. As of now, Valve hasn't announced its date, but we can assume it will take place in Fall 2023.
